This paper reports on the management of electronic records in manuscript collections at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University. The paper offers a case study exploring the InterPARES 1 Authenticity Task Force "Requirements for Assessing and Maintaining the Authenticity of Electronic Records" and archival description as models for assessing and maintaining the authenticity of copies of electronic records in manuscript collections.
